Nonlinear models ease GaN device simulation

Gallium Semi has released a library of nonlinear models for all of its broadband dual flat no-lead (DFN) plastic and air cavity ceramic (ACC) packaged GaN transistors. The 22 models are designed and validated with broadband S-parameters and load pull measurements to ensure accurate simulations.

Gallium’s GaN-based semiconductor devices can be used in a broad range of applications, including 5G mobile communication, aerospace, defense, industrial, scientific, and medical. Discrete transistors are available with varying output power levels and frequency ranges.

The library is available free of charge for qualified customers and is compatible with both the Cadence AWR Design Environment and the Keysight PathWave Advanced Design System (ADS) software. For product information and to request access to the models, click here.
